Indian Relations with United States at Crossroads

After 2001 Indian Air Force, Navy and Army has conducted many joint exercises with the United States and stated purchasing different weapons systems including a US Landing Ship which is now INS Jalashva, 6 Lockheed Martin C-130J "Super" Hercules for $962 million, 12 Boeing P-8I Poseidon Multimission Maritime Petrol Aircraft worth $3.1 billion and 10 C-17 Globemaster-III giant strategic airlift aircrafts worth $4.1-billion with an option on another 5 C-17 Globemaster-III airlift aircrafts. Issues related to the End User Verification Agreement (EUVA) have been resolved.
