Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Goes Missing After Helicopter Crash

Ecureuil AS 350 B3 of the Pawan Hans Helicopter Limited (PHHL) went missing along with the Arunachal Pradesh chief minister Dorjee Khandu after it took off from Tawang. State run Pawan Hans Helicopter maintains that Ecureuil AS 350 B3 was just four months old and it is technically one of the most advance helicopter bad weather was a bug factor in crash.

Ecureuil AS 350 B3 took off from Tawang at 9.50 a.m. along with the Arunachal Pradesh chief minister Dorjee Khandu and lost communication with the ground control. It had two pilots and three passengers on board. Mi-17 Helicopter of the Pawan Hans Helicopter crashed on April 19 resulting in the death of 17 passengers.

The Pawan Hans Ecureuil AS 350 B3 is yet to be found. Overcast  weather conditions are biggest hurdle faced by the Indian Army's efforts to trace the helicopter from air and Indian Space Research Organisation's efforts to use satellite images tp locate the helicopter .
