India Test Fires Prithvi-II nuclear capable ballistic missile

Indian Strategic Force Command (SFC) has successfully tested the Prithvi-II nuclear capable ballistic missile. The indigenously Prithvi-II ballistic missile has range 350 km from the Integrated Test Range (ITR) at Chandipur, Odisha.

The launch operations were monitored by missile scientists of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). According to DRDO sources, the missile was launched at 9.15 am and it zeroed in on the pre-designated target in the Bay of Bengal with all the systems working to perfection.
