India To Purchase 6 Additional C-130J Super Hercules

Indian Air Force will soon confirm the purchase of additional six C-130J " Super Hercules" military transport aircrafts at cost of  $1.2-billion.

The Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) has already notified the United States Congress about sale of the additional six C-130J " Super Hercules" military transport aircrafts.

The United States has secured defence orders worth well over $11 billion from the Indian military despite the rejection of its F-16N and F/A-18 E/F fighter jets from the Indian Medium Multi-Role Combat Aircraft (MMRCA) competition which is worth over $10.4-billion.
