India Test Fires 3000km Range Agni-III Nuclear Capable Ballistic Missile

Indian  Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has test fired Agni-III ballistic missile  system with range of 3000 kilometer  from a mobile launcher at launch complex-4 of Integrated Test Range at Wheeler Island . Agni-III ballistic missile is capable of carrying nuclear warhead of 1.5 tonne.

This was the 5th test of the Indian Agni-III nuclear missile which is  powered by a two-stage solid propellant  rocket engine. It has a length of 17m, diameter of  2m and launch weight is around 50 tonnes.
